Ajit Pai calls for the FCC to devote almost $1 billion for telco infrastructure restoration in Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Island

Ajit Pai, the chairman of the US Federal Communications Commission, proposed to direct approximately $954 million USD toward restoring and expanding communications networks in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Networks on both islands were damaged and destroyed during the 2017 hurricane season.
