Wojciech Wiewi¨®rowski has been selected to take the role of European Data Protection Supervisor for a five-year term. He had been the deputy of the European Data Protection Supervisor since December 2014. According to IAPP, Wiewi¨®rowski indicated to the European Parliament that his values were "the same as five years ago," but adding he would follow a "young-blood and young-youth approach to the problems of data protection and privacy."
