The US Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA), the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T), and other governmental and private stakeholders are celebrating October, for the 17th year, as the national cybersecurity awareness month. This year's theme is 'Do Your Part. #BeCyberSmart' in order to highlight how cybersecurity is everyone's responsibility. The campaign will also focus on mobile and Internet of things (IoT) devices, with the motto 'If You Connect IT. Protect IT'.
