A partnership between Facebook and Hughes Network Systems has been formed to launch Wi-Fi hotspots in Colombia. Customers will be able to access high-speed internet through local merchants on a prepaid basis thereby enabling small businesses to monetize their own hotspots regardless of location throughout Colombia.
