A new research conducted by EU Kids Online in Norway outlines the dilemma that while Norwegian children are familiar with internet and internet -related concepts, there is a disconnection in terms of the practical skills these concepts refer to. Since 92% Norwegian children from the age of nine have a mobile phone and are exposed to the internet, the study terms them as 'na?ve experts' rather than 'digital natives' pointing the need for more support to protect their privacy online.
