The government of New Zealand has released new identification management standards. Although they are meant for use by public agencies, private parties can also apply them. They encompass: identification assurance; binding assurance; authentication assurance; and federation assurance. The standards replace the evidence of identity (EOI) and authentication key strengths standards.
