Several statements made during the United Nations high level meeting on the WSIS+10 review outlined the need for protecting children in the digital environment. References were made to issues such as: digital literacy and the need to educate children about how to stay safe online, cyber-bullying and modalities for overcoming this threat, and the fight against online child pornography.
