UNESCO has adopted the  Education 2030 Framework during the 38th UNESCO General Conference in Paris. The document guides the implementation of the education commitments made in the Sustainable Development Goals (mainly SDG4). The Framework makes several references to online education and digital literacy, as components of UNESCO's strategy to achieve SDG4.
