Deputy chairman of the Russian central bank Olga Skorobogatova confirmed the bank's interest in creating national cryptocurrency at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2017. In her words: 'Regulators of all countries agree that it's time to develop national cryptocurrencies, this is the future.'
