The World Economic Forum (WEF) issues the latest edition of his Global Risks Report for the year 2017. On a list of twelve key emerging technologies blockchain and distributed ledger t echnologies takes the sixth place. WEF predicted that more than 1.3 Billion dollars is invested in this industry in 2016 alone.
