Telef¨®nica announced plans to invest 3 billion euros to improve connectivity in Peru and reduce the digital divide. Since it started operating in Peru in 1994, Telef¨®nica claims to have invested over €9 billion to develop telecoms infrastructure in the country. It owns over 65% of the pay-TV market.
